Nicaragua is often under-appreciated, despite producing very balanced coffees with the “clean” cup profile that Central American varieties are known for. Not only that, but unlike many single-origins this variety roasts very well at all points from light to dark. We roast these beans at light to medium to emphasise the crisp clean acidity.

Pollards say: This is a very pleasant and exceptionally well rounded cup, showing macadamia nuts, chocolate and some woody sweetness. The finish is clean and bright with a well rounded acidity. Overall, a lovely easy drinking coffee.
